1st Issue - Wes Lang

PROJECT GALLERIの記念すべき第一弾はWes Lang です。

Wes Langは、タトゥーアーティストとして活動した時期もある人であり、その独自のキャリアとスタイルは、セレブリティたちが作品をコレクションし、現代アートの領域にまで到達しようとしています。

それはファッションの世界でのコラボレーション経験も影響していると思いますが、そのストリートカルチャーのような要素からハイファッションとのコラボレーションの実現も同様の功績かと思います。

ただ、これまでのファッションコラボレーションにおいて、Wesの作品をそのまま洋服として所有する機会はこれまでにもなかったかと思い、PROJECT GALLERIはWesのシルクスクリーン作品をそのまま纏えるブランドであり、純粋に作品を着たいと考えたところから第一弾が始まりました。

PROJECT GALLERI Vol.1 — Wes Lang

The inaugural edition of PROJECT GALLERI features Wes Lang, an artist whose career once began in the world of tattooing. His singular trajectory and unmistakable visual language have attracted the attention of global collectors and celebrities alike, positioning his work on the frontier between contemporary art and subcultural expression.

Lang’s background in fashion collaborations has also shaped his practice — bridging the raw, street-inflected energy of his motifs with the elevated realm of high fashion. Yet, despite his numerous collaborations, there have been few opportunities to literally wear his art.

PROJECT GALLERI was born from that desire — to create a brand where Wes Lang’s silk-screen works can be worn just as they are, transforming his art into garments.
The first chapter of this project began simply from the wish: to wear the artwork itself.
